Do more outfit posts - I'm overwhelmed by the feedback and lovely comments my readers and followers on social media left on my first OOTD post. As I explained in detail, it was always something I wanted to do but had no balls to actually give it a go. Suddenly, I had a burst of confidence and thought 'what is there to lose?' and the answer was nothing. I'm really happy with how they came out (my sister is a secret photographer, who knew?) and especially with the response that you guys want to see more. Careful what you wish for! I can't wait to start posting them and see my blog become the way I always imagined it would be.
Get baking - I always seem to have a cooking goal? I have no idea why because I do it every single damn day but it's something I've found very therapeutic in the last few hectic months. If you follow me on Instagram (and if you aren't, why not? Your missing the action) you'll have seen my picture of the oh so heavenly Ferrero Rocher cheesecake I made that is coming to the blog veryyyyyy soon! I want to start baking more than cooking. Learning more bread recipes, how to pipe properly, how to make a mean batch of cookies. You get my drift.
Read atleast one book a month - My inner book worm has been busy lately and I've reignited my love for reading all over again. In October, I made my way through three books and I'm proud that rather than spend time on my mobile phone doing refresh Instagram > twitter > Facebook and repeat - I've done something much more productive with my time. I got through The Couple Next Door in just three days and would recommend it to anyone looking for a new read. Nothing beats being snuggled up with a hot drink and a great book in the winter nights.
Work on What Amy Did - I've been back into the swing of blogging since September and I'm starting to enjoy it more and more as the months go by. I've never really taken my blog seriously and to be honest, I didn't realise almost every blogger out there does. I don't measure my stats against page views, social media followers and engagement etc. So when I stumbled on a few blog posts explaining the benefits of why you should, I'm converted. I want to start looking at the posts that do well and planning more of these. I want to compare month to month and see how much my blog grows. I want to experiment on the content, introduce more of what I love and mix things up a bit. Hopefully in November, I get my head in the game and learn to know what you guys really are enjoying and what's not working.
Start Christmas Shopping - I love Christmas. I love the day, the food and drink, the buzz around it but I can't stand CHRISTMAS SHOPPING. It's the worst thing ever. I get way too stressed out in busy stores and queues, i worry my parcel won't be delivered on time, I start questioning if people will like what I've even got them - I'm just a Christmas shopping nightmare. This year, I'm doing it all online and I'm praying everything comes in time. Most of it will be done by mid November (I hope) to avoid the apocalypse that is Black Friday. For once, I know what I have in mind for everyone so I'm a woman on an online store mission this year. If it doesn't work out, I'll be like the grinch for the remainder of the time.
What are you planning to achieve this November? Have you set out any goals for the rest of the year you want to complete? As always, I'd love to hear your thoughts below or you can tweet/IG me at @whatamydid. Thanks for reading and hope you have the best month ahead.
I should definitely start Christmas shopping! Although, my budget doesn't agree with my wants haha :D wonderful goals! I hope you'll achieve them all :-)
